The flecsimo consists of three major subsystems:
Application Layers
The flecsimo follows (w.r.t. to IT-solution) is a classical layered architecture. Contrary to holistic or tightly integrated systems, each level of the factory structure (site - area - cell) acts as autonomous systems and therefore has to be integrated. The IoT-messaging standard MQTT is used herein. In the context of the manufacturing model the structure site - area - cell is considered as vertical hierarchy - the following diagram shows them horizontally side by side. Nevertheless, the integration between those level have to be considered as the "vertical integration" in the sense of IIoT-concepts.
